No Homework is every kid’s dream but why is that their dream, honestly I’m completing this at midnight and I want to get never hear the word ”homework” again in my life, why do most kid in my age group believe this way. This happens because most are: lazily, have a monumental amount of work, or they have extra curriculum after/before school, there is an active inventory of excuses that they have to offer, but the question is ” should homework be banned? Stanford University studies have shown 56 per cent of students have said homework is a stress for them.
Too much homework can give you a: shortage of sleep, headaches, tiredness, and weight loss. After a day of learning in class, students become less motivated to do homework and think it’s too much. When this happens, they might stop completing their homework or need help from parents. If this happens, the learning you get out of homework is lost and grades are downgrading.
Homework can have a real impacted on students: mental health, grades, and extra curriculum after/before school as Finland are following this approach and sees the impacted it has on students. The key points, I’m taking are a negative impact on tests/grades, Health/Wellbeing, and extra curriculum, after/before school.
Extra curriculum, after/before school is hard to manage I do 2 sports and sometime it can be hard, for example on Thursdays I’m most busiest because I do tennis at 3:30pm and finish at 4:50 pm at 5:30 pm a have soccer we have to left at five pm because the traffic, for soccer come at 7:30 pm and eat dinner then and sometime I have stay up for hours to do some and it can be hard at midnight because of headaches and tiredness.
Most of people in Australian play golf, cricket and tennis, but for kid in primary school play: Soccer (48.7%) The number one sports for team sports for kids in Australia is soccer! Basketball (30.5%) is a team sport like soccer they like it to because they like to play with friends. Cricket (25.7%) and Netball are (20.5%). One PE lesson is not enough (a half for it is health.) time to do sports so most play of a club and the reason why is not enough PE time but it fine but the problems are that homework is in the way and it comes back to all the key points like, one-in-three Australians don’t get enough sleep that 80 per cent of people that not get enough sleep and half per cent are primary school children, Too much homework can lead to loss of sleep, headaches, tiredness and weight loss and have extra curriculum, after/before school.
Homework can be terrible for both students’ physically and mental health. Too much homework can lead to loss of sleep, headaches, tiredness and weight loss. Too much homework can also desire us to consume junk food because families would prefer fast food as a faster way to eat and work. But students who have more homework have less time to have with their families and friends. Without time to relax, students would stress more, making life at school and at home miserable.
Students have more homework than recommend (which is 10 minutes per grade levels, for example, I’m in Year Six and I should have 60 minutes or One hour) terrible motivation for learning and can adjust the viewing point of learning to the students, so they don’t care anymore and no work ethic and no motivation to learn, they can’t reach the unreachable. This has an impacted on their test/grades because their work ethic and no motivation lead them into levels they shouldn’t be at and evidence of downgrading. If homework is more than before in primary school, it means its help students catch up on what the teacher couldn’t teach in the classroom. Because of the bad of teaching, Students often do worse on tests. Medibank Better Health program studies have shown one-in-three Australians do not get enough sleep that 80 per cent of people that not get enough sleep and half per cent are primary school children causing weaken your immune system, cause thinking issues, and lead to weight loss, missing one night of sleep can lead to some thinking issues through the following day and can stop you for learning, and you might forget things since yesterday. Homework has been a source of stress and all the things I have written about could happen to you if wasn’t homework was banned?

Homework should be banned because research shows it’s not a lack of being productive it lack of teaching so next time my mother said ”why did you get just a low grade” and I will said ”blame my teacher” and I will show her this, and my teacher going low grade because I cheat the first one and that life.
