Introduction

The brain is considered as the most important organ in the human body. Without the functioning of the brain, a human person may suffer from various diseases and psychological trauma. As such, the stability and power of brain can help human beings to cope up with various types of dangers and emotional outbursts that may arise in the lives of people (Card, 2017). The essay highlights the importance of the brain while trying to repair a broken heart. The recent techniques that have been adopted to develop the brain into accepting the damage are evaluated in the essay.

From years on, failure in love has led to hearts being broken. This has caused various catastrophic results in the lives of families and the people involved. Most of the times it had been thought that broken hearts could be recovered by a clumsy poem or drunken text messages that provide deep feelings about the emotions of a person. Such actions provide hope for the brokenhearted people in a way that they can live their life again in the society (Lepper & Greene, 2015). However, in the modern day, it is advisable to take into consideration the application of brain as it can help repair the broken heart of individuals.

Various methods have been incorporated in the modern world that has provided an analysis of the effective use of a brain. The applications have been linked directly in relation to the broken hearts of individuals. Given the number of catastrophes that have occurred in the past, the application of these technologies can help in reducing future losses due to broken hearts. However, Winch (2018) is of the opinion that it is necessary for people to strengthen the mind after such incidents. This can be done by remaining focused on the other aspects of life such as family, education and job.

One of the renowned physicians in this department, Barbara Sahakian, a professor of the clinical neuropsychology at the University of Cambridge have developed a device that helps that can help people strengthen its self-control. People need to provide responses to certain symbols and immediately stop at the sound of a buzzer. This is considered as one of the best ways of keeping the mind focused on the current activity and making it forget any incidents that have led to the cause of hearts being broken. According to Berscheid and Regan (2016), the experiments can help in reducing the impulsive behaviour of the people.

Other experiments have shown that consumption of paracetamol can help in reducing the impact of broken hearts among people. This is because the effects of a broken heart are usually aligned with the physical pain that can be felt in the brain circuits. Thus, it is necessary for the people to consider this particular medication to reduce the effects of a broken heart. However, criticism has been made about the fact that paracetamol not only suppresses the emotions of a broken heart but other important emotions as well (Gregory, 2015). This can be considered as a huge negativity for the people as the brain cells are the main reasons for the emotions of a person to exist.

At the same time, it has been seen that most broken-hearted people brood about the fact and figures of the emotional state at which they are currently been staged (Nolen-Hoeksema & Rector, 2015). This increases the chances of being emotionally weak and continuously thinks about ways to repair the broken heart. In this case, it is necessary for the people to remain focused on thinking about other things that do not relate to the reasons for the broken heart. This can help the people to assess the strength of the brain and the manner in which it can be manipulated to continue to function without stress (Oatley, 2017).

One of the worst things that individuals can do after a heartbreak is to sit alone in the house and continue to ponder over the things that lead to the cause of the event (Cozolino, 2014). Developing the brain to think about other positive things is necessary to avoid such disastrous thoughts. This can lead the people to understand the manner in which they can fix the broken heart and lead them to take a negative life-changing decision. Thus, this can cause serious problems for people.

It can be concluded that without the support of the brain, individuals do not possess the capability to think in a positive manner. Hence, it is the duty of the individuals to nurture positive thoughts in the mind so that any catastrophe regarding broken hearts can be avoided. The application of technical methods as well as traditional methods of manipulating the brain can help individuals to remain focused and continue to provide attention to other spheres of life.
